In support of Dyslexia Awareness Week, The Kade Consultancy are hosting a free seminar on what dyslexia is all about and how it is possible to manage the problems that arise for someone with the condition. It is surprising that, even nowadays, little is known about the condition, even though 1 in 10 of the population are thought to have dyslexia.
The seminar will focus on:
- What is dyslexia and how do we identify it?
- What are the wider issues for those with dyslexia?
- What can be done to help, including reasonable adjustments
- Learning to use strengths to support weaknesses
As well as for individuals, this seminar is a must for all managers and HR Personnel
There will be plenty of refreshments on hand and time for discussion.
For those attending, we will discuss with you any issues you may have regarding dyslexia/literacy and suggest a range of ways in which we can help. This may be through a complimentary, hour-long consultation to discuss concerns, or focus on a particular issue, or through screening measures (at a favourable rate).
